Myrciaria cauliflora:
Jaboticaba is an incredible large shrub, or small tree, from Southern Brazil, but it is also present in adjacent countries of Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, and northern Argentina. A profusion of white flowers makes the branches being loaded of various stages of maturing fruits when pollinated. The fruit is edible fresh or made into jams and jellies, or used to make wine. Jaboticaba makes a fine landscape shrub, tree or hedge. It can be grown as a patio or courtyard tree and is adapted to large container growing, but be careful because it does not tolerate low temperatures.

Plantas2
Plantas2 is an image bank for ornamental species. Most of images are taken from google images. Anyways, it is very useful to have them listed. If I had more knowledge in web design I would create a plant social network! Any volunteer?

Eva:
Eva is a mini composting plant designed by Francois Hurtaud. Huge amounts of organic waste is disposed everyday in homes and restaurants. This waste can be used to produce compost, get energy and grow food. The device uses part of the waste in an aerobic process to grow plants, and part of the waste to get methane and turn it into energy, thanks to a co-generator. Energy will produce light to stimulate the growth of the plants. Everything is done in a device with a cool design.

Tree shaping is considered as an art of manipulating trees and their roots to create ornamental shapes and structures. Most of the examples of tree shaping are based in the natural phenomenon of inosculation. Large designs may take several years to achieve the design projected, depending on the size of starter material, the species rate of growth, cultivation conditions and the height of the design.

Golly pods:
This plant pods are designed by Tend in collaboration with Jason Lane of Bells & Whistles. Golly ponds are more like living sculptures than just a place to stick plants.Golly pods are unique crafted planters that are made either of wood or ceramic. The planters are still in concept but looks like they will be ready to mass production very soon. The pods feature mostly succulent plants so they won’t need a lot of maintenance. If you enjoy succulent floral arraignments and like unusual futuristic design then you should check Tend’s blog constantly in order not to miss the release date.
