Electrical Bacteria: produce clean electricity in your garden:

The activity aims to show a new type of renewable energy. Biotechnology makes it possible to convert the chemical energy contained in plant residues into electricity using natural bacteria. Bacteria, whose natural habitat is the digestive system of horses, degrade cellulose and obtain energy. Participants will see a demonstration of the process on a small scale and how the energy obtained is able to light a bulb or operate small electronic devices.
